Shanghai Zhenou Industrial Development Co., Ltd. recently announced a major technical upgrade to its flagship product, the KM-W5 wrap-around automatic car wash system. The upgrade focuses on optimizing cleaning paths and energy consumption. Testing confirms that the new model delivers approximately 20% higher overall cleaning efficiency while reducing energy consumption per unit by 15%.
Smart Path Planning Algorithm
The new KM-W5 features a proprietary intelligent path-planning algorithm that automatically adjusts spray arm trajectories and water pressure based on vehicle size and dirt level. For standard sedans, the system completes a full wash in 45 seconds; for SUVs and MPVs, the process finishes within 60 seconds—an average reduction of 12 seconds compared to previous models. The algorithm also learns over time, continuously optimizing cleaning strategies to further boost efficiency with each use.
Energy-saving and consumption-reduction design
In terms of energy consumption, the upgraded KM-W5 features a variable-frequency water pump and an intelligent water-saving valve assembly that dynamically adjusts water flow based on actual cleaning needs. The upgraded KM-W5 is currently operating successfully at pilot sites nationwide. Shanghai Zhenou Industry plans to roll out the new version across all regions in the second half of 2026, offering free upgrades to existing customers.
