Automatic car wash machines may encounter faults during extended operation. Mastering basic troubleshooting helps on-site staff quickly identify issues and reduce wait times for repairs. Below is a guide to resolving ten common problems.
1. Device failed to start
Check if the power supply is stable and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Ensure the emergency stop button is reset. Look for any error codes on the control panel. If all checks pass, the mainboard may be faulty; contact technical support for repair.
2. Spray arm is not rotating
Check if the spray arm motor is powered and connections are secure. Verify that the limit switch is not stuck. Listen for unusual noises from the gearbox. If the motor runs but the spray arm does not move, the drive belt may be broken or the coupling damaged.
3. Insufficient water pressure
Check that the inlet valve is fully open and the filter is not clogged. Measure the pump outlet pressure; if it's below the set value, the pump head may be worn or the check valve may have failed. Verify whether the nozzle is clogged and disassemble for cleaning if necessary.
4. Vehicle detection failure
